Getting Started

#1 Domain Name

Before you start thinking about setting up a website, you should pick a domain name e.g. www.myclan.com, once you have decided on your domain name you need to register it! There are many websites which offer this service (simply Google "register domain name"), we use GoDaddy.com.

#2 Hosting / Web Space

Next you'll need a host for your website, this is where you will upload your web pages so that they are viewable over the web, again there are thousands of companies offering this service (Google "web hosting"), we offer it ourselves and will throw in 1 Month FREE when you purchase a template or theme from us.

NOTE: Once you have a host you will need to update the DNS settings for your domain name to point to your hosting account, whomever you purchase hosting from will provide you with this information.

#3 Templates / Themes

Now you're ready to begin building your website! With our products you have two options:

1. You can purchase a theme/template for your CMS (content management system), such as Joomla or PHP Nuke, the CMS will allow you to update your web pages very easily through your web browser. Installation is simple, just upload the theme/template directory to your CMS & enable it via the administration panel (Specific instructions are provided depending on which CMS you're using with each purchase).

2. You can purchase a Website Template, this is a web page design which has been fully coded, you will have all the sources you require (PSD,HTML,CSS etc.) to customize the template to your hearts content, you can then integrate this into a CMS of your choice or replicate the template for each page of your website. This option is advised if you have at least a basic knowledge of HTML/CSS & Photoshop.
